Small Group
Team

Individual

Training sessions are offered to individual players to;


A. Improve certain skills, such as shooting, winning 1 V 1 situations, ball control, and etc.
B. Increase the player self steam by strictly focusing the attention on the individual.
C. Evaluate the player for various skills level

Due to the intensity of activities, the individual training session will take 45 minutes to one hour maximum. Normally, the individual player will be saturated with information and will stop absorbing the data after 30 minutes. It is highly recommended to have a buddy joining the individual for training, in order to have fun while learning.

The following materials will be offered during the individual training session;


A. Fitness such as; movement coordination and flexibility, agility and speed, power running and endurance.
B. Sport psychology, discussing the individual’s goal.
C. Variety of dribbling techniques, teaching how to beat the defender on a 1 V 1 situation.
D. Individual defensive shape and movement.
E. Different passing and receiving techniques to meet the actual game situation.
F. Plenty types of shooting techniques.
G. Ball control techniques, teaching them how to receive the ball from the ground or from the air.

Small Group

Training sessions are offered to small group of 4, 6 or 8 players:


A. Improve the players’ fundamental skills, such as shooting, dribbling, ball control, moving off the ball, passing/receiving, and etc.
B. Improve the players’ movement, vision and communication skills.
C. Work on combination plays, improving the players’ ability to keep the ball in the team possession for a longer period.
D. Improve any specific skill deficiency, requested by the group organizer.

Although, the small group of four could be offered this training program, but due to the intensity of non-stop exercises during the training session, a small group of six is preferred. The players must join the group with the understanding that having fun is the last item of priority during the two hours training session. They will be thought, worked hard, and tested at all times during the training sessions. In other words, they will leave the session with good feeling of learning and will be prepared to get a good night sleep.

The following materials will be offered during the small group training session:


A. Fitness such as; soccerobics, movement coordination, flexibility and balance, agility and speed, power running and endurance.
B. Sport psychology, discussing the individual player and the group’s goals.
C. Variety of dribbling techniques, such as dribbling for possession and dribbling to defeat the opponent. Depending on the players’ ages, the training focus will shift from the fundamental to intermittent, and to a more advance level, teaching them how to beat the defender on a 1 V 1 situation and penetrating through the defensive line.
D. Individual (Pressure) defensive shape, double (Pressure, Cover) defensive shape, and triplet (Pressure, Cover, Balance) defensive shape.
E. Different passing and receiving techniques to meet the actual game situation. These techniques will be utilized to teach the group and team possession of the ball for a longer period.
F. The entire types of shooting techniques, such as power shot, incoming or outgoing shots, square-passing shots, bending shots, free kicks, corner kicks, and penalty shots.
G. Ball control techniques, teaching them how to receive the ball from the ground or from the air.
H. An optional written evaluation for each individual player will be offered to each individual player in the group.

Team

Training sessions are offered only the Travel and Club level teams. These training sessions will includes the following:


A. Increase the players’ awareness and commitment to the team by providing them the latest team psychology techniques.
B. Improve the players’ fundamental skills, such as shooting, dribbling, ball control, moving off the ball, passing/receiving, and etc.
C. Improve the players’ movement, vision and communication skills.
D. Improve the player’s combination plays, improving the team’s ability to keep the ball in possession for a longer period for a profitable result.
E. Improve the players’ understanding of tactical requirements to win games.
F. Improve the team’s system of playing by trying out different systems, such as the 4-4-3, 4-4-2, 3-5-2, and etc.

There will be a kick-off meeting between the team coaches and myself to discuss the coaches’ requirements and to go over the training program and its materials in more specific details.

The team’s management will be requested to communicate to the players that having fun is the last item of priority during the two or three hours training sessions. Additional requirements are as followings:


A. The players will be thought, pushed to the limit, worked hard, and tested at all times, during the training program.
B. They will have limited time for socializing.
C. Uncooperative players will be reported to the coach or the team manager for warning or sent-off.
D. All players are required to be prompt to the training sessions’ starting time.
E. All players are required to have the same color of practice t-shirt.
F. All players are required to have their own soccer ball.
G. All players are required to be outfitted with proper equipment to meet the field and the weather condition.

Depending on the team’s skill level, the training focus will shift from the fundamental to intermittent, and to a more advance level, teaching them how to beat the defender on a 1 V 1 situation and penetrating through the defensive line.
D. Individual (Pressure) defensive shape, double (Pressure, Cover) defensive shape, and triplet (Pressure, Cover, Balance) defensive shape.
E. Variety of passing and receiving techniques to meet the actual game situation. These techniques will be utilized to teach the team about how to win the ball and keep its possession for a longer period.
F. The entire types of shooting techniques, such as power shot, incoming or outgoing shots, square-passing shots, bending shots, free kicks, corner kicks, and penalty shots.
G. Ball control techniques, teaching them how to receive the ball from the ground or from the air.
H. Optional training sessions will be available for running a league or tournament game in order to see and correct the team’s need during an actual match.
I. An optional written evaluation for each individual player will be offered to the team’s coaches. The evaluation items will electronically be provided to the team’s coach, prior to distribution to the players.
